Therapy for Anger Management

I can help you to change how you think, to feel less angry and react differently.  You will learn how to think in calmer ways about situations or people that make you feel angry or stressed. In other words, you gain a better ability to manage your anger and stay calmer. As this happens you will feel more in control, and deal better with life or relationships.

Feel happier and at ease in your own skin

– Stop struggling with life, your anger, or relationships

– Be more resilient, and less reactive

– Manage your anger better and have a calmer mind

– Experienced Bristol Based Therapist

During this process, I will teach you how to stop getting controlled by your anger and negative thoughts. You can also expect to gain a deeper understanding of why you get angry and how to change how you think.

My approach as a therapist is guided by two leading psychologists and is focused on helping people navigate life more easily. I often help people who are finding life difficult or finding it hard to manage their anger. I work online via Skype, phone or in person in Bristol.

In the therapy sessions, we will work to first really understand what is happening for you, and then help you think differently and manage your anger better. We will explore what happens in your mind when you get angry and what happens when you are effective and calmer. Understanding this will help you be angry less and spend more time in a better state of mind. Together we would look at understanding human resilience and the mind more deeply.

Learn More About Me

I trained in an innovative approach that combined elements of psychotherapy with newer methods including NLP and mindfulness. In recent years, I have been supported and mentored by two leading psychologists, Dr. Dicken Bettinger and Dr. Keith Blevens.  My understanding of how people work psychologically and why they get angry has deepened; they have taught me how to more effectively help people change.

In my sessions, I draw on my experience of supporting people in many different circumstances as well as my own personal insights.  I used to struggle with life, my emotions and my temper. This experience makes me very optimistic that anyone can learn to change, feel less angry and have a happier life.

Some of the people I have helped as an therapist include include those who

  • struggle to manage their anger
  • get angry very easily
  • want to feel calmer and more in control
  • get stressed and overwhelmed
